Discussion:
Double Spacing for Editor Tool
(too old to reply)

JBuilder seems to add extra line returns in my files so it seems as if I have double spacing formatted. I went under Tools> Editor Options and I have the following set:

Keymap: CUA
Block Indent: 2
Tab Size: 8
Max Indent: 40

Any ideas? If I open the file in Notepad - or any other tool, the file is fine. Thanks

I saw it once with ClearCase configured to use Windows newlines. After
that every line was "\r\r\n".

Of course I'm using ClearCase...just my luck. Any idea how I can get rid of this configuration? No one else on my team has this problem. I know if I ask the "ClearCase" gods around here it will take MONTHS (yes I'm talking that long) for a reply. Thanks

I believe there is no way to switch your view mode. I would suggest
creating new view with "use interop (insert_cr) text mode" unchecked in
advanced options. Personally I create views from command line and this
is the default:

create mkview -tag xxx -snapshot -vws
\\YOUR-COMPUTER-NAME\ccshare$\vws\xxx.vws view\path

:-) I know the feeling. Under your project properties, select "Basic
Formatting". The section called "End of line characters" should provide
your solution.

BTW, it's not unique to Clearcase. I've seen the same thing with CVS
when mixing platforms.
