On different sites I see that there is BLAM edition of JBuilder
Enterprise 2007 R2. I can't find anything in the feature matrix about
that edition.

So what are the differences from JBuilder Enterprise?

I suppose BALM means it includes support for Borland ALM stuff.

Is there anything missing that is included in JBuilder Enterprise edition?

thanks in advance

I'm having email discussion with CodeGear local representative regarding
licensing policy.

They say that one license is for one computer and can't be installed on
other computers.

At least before it was the other way.

I can install any CodeGaear product on up to 5 computers(that is the
limit for the number of the registrations) but I can't use them
simultaneously and I have to be the only one that uses these installations.

Am I right or wrong?

Also is the JB2006 also included like it was with previous JB 2007?

Enterprise BALM contains everything that is in Enterprise. It includes the
StarTeam client plus adds StarTeam support to both ProjectAssist and
TeamInsight.

The way I read the license you are right: "You may install the Product on a
reasonable number of machines provided that the Named User is the only
individual permitted to use the Product."

I am told that JBuilder 2006 is not in the box but a link is provided for
download. Successful registration of any JBuilder 2007 version should
enable JBuilder 2006 too.

Doychin,

You are right - the standard licensing for JBuilder is per developer
(i.e. person), not per machine. As Bill has indicated you can install
on several machines, as long as you are the only person using it.

From your email domain, I believe you are based in Bulgaria - if you
want to email me with details of the local partner you are dealing
with (maybe forward the email thread wit them) I will follow-up with
our partner manager for your country. Seems like some further
education on licensing is needed. Email:
***@nospam.codegear.com (obviously remove the "nospam" part).

Regards, Jon.
