Are these forums the right area to be asking technical questions for jbuilder 2007 ?

Or should I be going to a codegear newsgroup (after the spinoff)

For now, this is the best avenue. There are no CodeGear newsgroups as yet.

OK, just checking.

I have a brand new machine that I have just installed v2007 on and I am trying to make a clean break away from 2005 (I have not even reinstalled 2005 and am hoping not to do so)
I have a about 10 v2005 projects that I am trying to port into 2007, and need to get up to speed on 2007 ASAP as these are real world projects.

I have asked a couple of questions in the IDE area but there have not been responses yet, I will just have to be patient I guess.

Cheers,

Andy

Unfortunately, many of us are also still feeling our way around JBuilder
2007. I only just started my first project with it this week, so I
personally am going to be a little light on the responses until I've
really ripped it apart.

Great being on the cutting edge :)

I sent a note to borland education asking about 2007 training availability, hopefully something will get put together soon for the asia/pacific region (New Zealand would be ideal)
